Session 1: Living Library - Education
#impact
Conference room 1.3
Living Library works just like a normal library: visitors can browse the catalog for the available titles, choose the book they want to read, and borrow it for a limited period of time. After reading, they return the book to the library and, if they want, borrow another. The only difference is that in the Living Library, books are people, and reading consists of a conversation.
In this living library, the focus is on Education, and you will get to talk to 3 SIA alumni that tackle this topic through their venture: Neuron (Kosovo), Eduprenoria (Romania), Education 360 (Germany). Ask them anything about their entrepreneurial journey, challenges, impact, or any other topics that interest you!
Session 2: Sustainable Development Goals - Why are they important? | Katharina Eggenweber, Global Responsibility
#impact
Conference room 1.4
In this workshop, you will get an insight into the UN 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), their significance, and how you can apply them in your social venture.
The UN 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted in September 2015. The 2030 Agenda for sustainable development is a global action plan whose objective is to achieve a decent life for all. Its 17 sustainable development goals aim to improve the lives and future prospects of all people. More specifically, it is about eradicating poverty, protecting the environment, and sustainable and inclusive economic growth. We will look at the principles of the 2030 Agenda, it's leaving no one behind the approach, the 17 SDGs and will discuss how every one of us can contribute to realizing the SDGs in our countries.

How can such a powerful tool be used to increase awareness about social issues? How to start such a podcast and how to build your audience? Martin Mehrwald is the co-founder of an award-winning podcast 5MinutenClimateChance and runs the Social Entrepreneurship Center-Podcast Inside Impact since 2020, while Ema is at the beginning of her journey with her Bright Living podcast. They will share their experience and lessons learned along the way.
