Bio
Peter Vandor is a senior researcher, founder, and manager of the Social Entrepreneurship Center at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In his position, he has been leading 80+ collaboration projects with organizations such as the ERSTE Foundation, the CERN Large Hadron Collider, UNDP, and the Roland Berger Foundation. His research focuses on social entrepreneurship, migrant entrepreneurship, and impact-oriented networks and has been published in journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of World Business, and Harvard Business Review.
Peter is the founder and board member of the Social Impact Award, a capacity-building program for young social entrepreneurs in 15+ countries, and initiated the first academic and award-winning course on social entrepreneurship in Austria. Peter was nominated as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum in 2012 and as a SCANCOR Visiting Scholar at Stanford University in 2017.
