Code of Conduct: Creating a safer environment together

We want our event to be a welcoming space for everyone where all participants interact with each other in a respectful and responsible manner, aligned with our mission, vision and values. That’s why we created a Code of Conduct.

Our agenda invites you on a journey from big ideas and bold visions to practical tools and collaborative action. Expect a dynamic mix of inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops, deep-dive discussions, and spaces for meaningful exchange across borders.

Whether you’re passionate about impact entrepreneurship, sustainable innovation, mental well-being, or inclusive finance, there’s something here for you. You’ll walk away with fresh perspectives, new relationships, and the motivation to keep shaping tomorrow – together.

We will kick off the Summit with the official opening ceremony for all participants on Wednesday morning, November 19th, followed by a vibrant three-day program. To make the most of the experience, we recommend arriving on Tuesday, November 18th and departing on Saturday, November 22nd — especially since we’ll wrap up the Summit with a celebratory after-party on Friday night (and you definitely won’t want to miss that!).

      • Quo Vadis Youth Empowerment? Navigating Hope and Power in an Age of Crisis

        Across the world, young people are facing overlapping crises, economic uncertainty, democratic fatigue, social polarization, and ecological collapse are some of them. The result is a generation caught between anxiety and action: angry at broken systems, yet determined to build what comes next.

        This interactive fishbowl discussion invites participants to explore what empowerment truly means in such an age of crisis. How can young people move from despair to agency, from protest to practice? And how can institutions, movements, and communities support them in shaping a shared, regenerative future?

        A rotating circle of speakers will open the dialogue, and everyone in the room will have the chance to step in, share, and shape the conversation.

        Whether it is philanthropic funding, corporate funding, or public funding, the vast majority of social entrepreneurs rely on such sources as part of their business models.       • Mental Well-being for Social Entrepreneurs: What We Know From Research

        Social entrepreneurship can be a deeply rewarding and pleasurable work experience. At the same time, it puts a high demands on founders, often causing stress and sometimes serious challenges for well-being. In this session, I will share findings of some of the first studies into the mental well-being of social entrepreneurs (including your fellow SIA alumni) and how it can be retained. The session will also invite you to reflect on your own ways to ensure well-being as a founder and connect with other alumni who care about mental well-being.

      • Ubuntu Leadership: Reimagining Collaboration and Authenticity in Social Entrepreneurship

        This session invites young social entrepreneurs, founders and changemakers to explore how inclusive, intersectional leadership can strengthen collaboration, authenticity, and social impact guided by the African philosophy of Ubuntu (“I am because we are”).

        Participants will reflect on the challenges many founders face when working across cultures and identities such as staying authentic while navigating mainstream expectations, building truly inclusive teams, or managing representation and responsibility within their communities. Through guided discussion and interactive exercises, they’ll learn how Ubuntu values like empathy, shared growth, and interconnectedness can help them lead more effectively and collaboratively.

      Community Tombola is a chance to connect with other Summit participants in a playful and informal atmosphere. To participate, we invite you to bring a small item as a gift (valued between 2-10€) and/or buy a token throughout the duration of the Summit for 2€. The more tokens you buy, the more you increase your chances of winning gifts.

      All proceeds from the Community Tombola will be donated to Botrstvo v Sloveniji, a program supporting children and youth in need across Slovenia – you can learn more here.
