Bio
Nataljia is a highly motivated social entrepreneur with proven organizational skills in business and initiative. She’s also an economist, with 20 years of work experience in the field and extensive knowledge of organic food production, zero waste and circular economy.
7 years ago, she founded Mama Organa, a company that produces organic fertilizers from food waste and provides jobs for socially disadvantaged people. So far, with Mama Organa’s business model, she has won several awards in Macedonia and Europe, and also works as a consultant for the implementation of a circular economy in the processing industry and a mentor for social businesses in projects like RISE and SIA. She is a long-time civic activist and fighter for social justice. She participates in all protests and rallies related to the environment and climate change.
Since 2016, she has been actively working on the promotion of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, for which she received the “Leader of Sustainable Development” award from “Konekt”. Participates in the creation of a network of social enterprises and promotes the reuse of resources and social responsibility. Active member of the association for sustainable development Zelen Okrug from Skopje.
