✈️ Arrival by Flight
Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) is the closest international airport, located about 25 km from the city center of Ljubljana.
There are different options to get from the airport to Ljubljana city center:
🚌 By Bus
The most budget-friendly option is the Arriva airport bus. The ride costs 4 € and takes about 30–40 minutes to the city center. Buses usually run every 30 minutes, but we recommend checking the exact timetable in advance:: Arriva Shuttle Timetable
🚐 By Shuttle
Shuttle services like Nomago and GoOpti are another convenient option to get to the city center. Nomago runs regular daily transfers with a travel time of about 45-60 minutes and fares from €12. Tickets can be purchased online or at the airport. GoOpti offers flexible shared rides with variable prices and door-to-door service.
🚖 By Taxi or Uber
Taxis are available right outside the airport exit and take about 25-30 minutes to reach the city center, depending on traffic. A ride costs around €25-35 and taxis operate 24/7.

Uber is also available in Ljubljana and may offer competitive rates, depending on time and demand.
💡Additional Tip: If you can’t find a good flight connection directly to Ljubljana, you might also consider flying into Venice Marco Polo Airport (Italy) and continuing to Ljubljana by train or shuttle. We recommend booking a GoOpti Shuttle in advance.
🚆 Arrival by Train or Bus
Ljubljana’s main train station (Ljubljana Railway Station) and central bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana) are located side-by-side in the city center and are well connected to major cities across Europe — including Vienna, Zagreb, Munich, Venice, and Budapest.
From the station:
- it’s only a 15-minute walk (1 km) to the event location (Center Rog).
- Neu Residences are just a 4-minute walk from the station (400m).
